Nature Scavenging Trail

Look closely without disturbing

A magnifier can make bark, fallen leaves and stones interesting. Observe animals from a distance and leave nests, burrows and shelter undisturbed. Follow local rules about touching or collecting natural objects.

Do not taste wild plants or fungi as part of a scavenger activity. Photograph or sketch finds instead. Wash hands afterward, and check clothing and exposed skin as appropriate for local conditions. Choose accessible paths rather than entering fragile habitat.
